hehe, so, instead of getting pissed when the weather is too bad for skateboarding (or doing other sports) and hanging around with friends, or if you don't have an interessting fat job, it would be a great idea to support (local) skatepunk/hardcore/punkrock bands, who keeps the scene alive. If you don't support the scene, it will become smaller and smaller, and consequently, there won't be any new skatepunk/melodic-hardcore stuff in the future.

Of course, downloading and sending albums is not a crime, and also necessary to support bands and the scene, furthermore there are also other important points, to respect and to appreciate their work!
Go to shows, buy albums, buy merchandise, promote artists, tell your friends and the bands how much you like them.
Support the scene; keep our small scene alive!

There are lots of different styles, ideologies and people and the scene. Respect each other, and respect other scenes too! Be open-minded to new people and bands, and fuck all those bigoted and arrogant pigs!

This blog tells short stories and news about bands, events and activities in the scene - of course there are also videos and downloads - , so that there will never exist any forms of Skate(punk)-O-Phobia in the future, no matter if the weather is fine or shit because we hate the time without skatepunk/skatecore/melodic-hardcore/melodic-punk/punkrock/pop-punk/hardcore music!!!


PS. I try to translate and write most of the posts in english language (espacially downloads and videos), but please excuse me, if i write some topics only in german (but there are some good translation-machines on the internet). Although I have learned 10years english and french until now, it still sucks ass :-D

Lange hat es gedauert, bis die Coalition-Split endlich veröffentlicht wurde. Die Fangemeinde des (ultra-)schnellen Skatepunks postete schon seit einiger Zeit quer durch alle Foren und Blogs, ob bereits jemand das Album zu Hause hat, oder ob es wenigstens schon ein paar Songs im Internet zum Probehören (und Downloaden) gibt.

Am 23.September wurde nun die Coalition-Split released, und sofort gab es kaum ein Forum, kaum eine Shoutbox, wo nicht nach diesem Sampler gefragt wurde.

Auf Interpunk.com wurde die Platte an den Releaseterminen sogar zum meistverkauften Album auf der gesamten (!) Plattform. Nur wenige Auserwählte hatten das Glück sich rechtzeitig die Split zu bestellen, bevor sie - wegen der zunächst viel zu stark limitierten Auflage - ausverkauft war. Anscheinend überraschte dieser Andrang Bells On Records (Label) gewaltig, selbst außerhalb der "Szene" wollten viele diesen begeehrten Sampler haben. Deshalb ist es auch umso bewundernswerter, dass es rund zwei Monate gedauert hat, bis es im Internet endlich die ersten Kopien des Samplers zu downloaden gab!

Einen Review des Albums werf ich Euch jetzt nochnicht her, hört Euch lieber einmal selbst eine der wohl schnellsten Splits des heurigen Jahres an.
