Protestsongcontest 2010

A new austrian music-event was formed the first time in 2004 on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the so-called "12.-Februar-Unruhen" (for more information click here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austrian_Civil_War).

Participating bands (most of them are Austrians, but there were also bands from Germany and Switzerland in the past) write critical songs about society, environment, globalization, surveillance and xenophobia, and the finals are also broadcasted on the national radio-station FM4.

The organizer are searching now bands for the ProtestSongContest 2010 until January.
